Why it matters
Work supports income, purpose and social connection. Small changes can prevent flares and lost days.
What you can do
Set up your workstation ergonomically, take short movement breaks, use voice typing or tools with larger grips, and plan demanding tasks for your best time of day. In the US, the ADA lets you request reasonable accommodations.
Call your care team if
Fatigue or pain is making it hard to do your job. A letter from your rheumatologist can support an accommodation request.
