About
Rheumatology education you can trust and actually understand
Youthful Rheumatology is the patient education library of Youthful Medicine. It exists to help people with arthritis and autoimmune disease understand their diagnosis, their medicines and their tests, so every visit becomes a better conversation.
Why we built it
Rheumatic diseases are complex, and appointments are short. Many people leave a visit with a new diagnosis, a new medicine and a list of lab tests, but little time to understand any of them.
This library gives you a place to come back to: clear explanations, animated explainers that show what is happening inside the body, and short video lessons you can watch with family.
How our content is made
Every guide is written in plain language and reviewed by Farhan Tahir, MD, FACR. Content follows current professional guidelines, including those of the American College of Rheumatology, and is updated as evidence and treatments change.
We do not accept sponsorship from pharmaceutical companies for this content. Brand names are listed only so you can recognize your own medicines.
