Why it matters

Missed doses, warm biologics or an infection far from your care team can turn a trip into a flare.

What you can do

Pack medicines in your carry-on with copies of prescriptions. Use an insulated pouch for biologics and carry a doctor’s letter for needles. Check vaccine needs early, since some vaccines are not safe on immune-suppressing treatment. Plan rest days and comfortable footwear.

Call your care team if

You develop a fever or infection while traveling. Seek care and mention your medicines.
